We are committed to student and teacher data privacy and comply with applicable laws, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA). Our Service provides secular educational curriculum materials aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards for educators. All resources are offered under a single-user license and may include both editable and non-editable materials. We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as religious or demographic information).

We do not collect any more personal data than is necessary to provide our Services. We do not seek or collect sensitive personal information such as government-issued identifiers, biometric data, or financial account numbers (credit card details are handled by third-party payment processors and not stored by Us). We also do not collect any information about your students or classroom unless you voluntarily provide it. In line with our secular curriculum and nondiscrimination policy, we do not request or collect data about you or your students' race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, or other demographic information.
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.
Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

- For Business Transfers or Partners: We may share or transfer Your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company. We will cooperate with and defer to educational institutions regarding requests relating to student records.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. In accordance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if You are under 13 years of age, You are not permitted to use this Service or provide any personal information to us. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with personal data, please contact Us immediately. Student Privacy (FERPA)
We understand that educators (teachers, homeschoolers, school administrators, or school districts) may use Our Services in a classroom setting. Protecting student privacy is of paramount importance to Us. However, our Service is designed to provide curriculum resources only. We do not provide functionality for uploading, storing, or transmitting student information. The following additional terms apply in order to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other student privacy laws:
- FERPA Awareness: While we do not act as a “school official” under FERPA because no student records flow through our Service, we are mindful that schools and educators must meet their obligations under FERPA. Our policies and product design intentionally minimize data collection to support that compliance.
- No Student Records Collected: We do not request, accept, or store personally identifiable student information or educational records of any kind.

Educator Responsibility: Educators are solely responsible for ensuring that their classroom use of our materials complies with FERPA and any other applicable student privacy laws. Since our Service does not collect or store student data, there are no FERPA-covered “student records” managed by Lesson Plan Guru.

Curriculum Only: Our resources are secular, TEKS-aligned instructional materials intended to be used by teachers in their classrooms. They are provided “as is” for educational purposes and do not include any tools for student data entry or management.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.
